1. Who We Are
LLEdTech Inc. ("LLEdTech," "we," "our," or "us") is an educational technology company that designs AI-powered learning apps and technology solutions for K-12 students. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you and your student use any LLEdTech product or service. Our website is www.lledtech.com.
2. Information We Collect
When an Account Holder creates an account with any LLEdTech product, we may collect: the parent, guardian, or educator's full name and email address; the student's first name and age; account login credentials (email and password, stored securely); subscription and billing status (we do not store credit card numbers); and the student's learning progress and in-app activity data.
We do not collect government identification, Social Security numbers, physical addresses, or sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to create and manage your account, deliver and personalize the educational experience for your student, track learning progress and adapt instruction, communicate with Account Holders about their account or our services, process subscription payments through our payment processor, and improve our products over time.
We do not use student data for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share student personal information with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
LLEdTech products serve K-12 students, including children under 13. All accounts are created by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized educator, not by the student directly. LLEdTech complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. By creating an account, the Account Holder provides consent for LLEdTech to collect limited information about the student as described in this policy. Account Holders may request to review, correct, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting us at hello@lledtech.com.
5. Data Storage and Security
Student and account data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud), a GDPR-compliant and SOC 2-certified cloud platform. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data.
6. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate our products. These may include Firebase (Google) for account authentication and data storage, OpenAI for narration and voice input features, Google Gemini for AI-generated content, and a payment processor for subscription billing. These services are used only as necessary to provide our products and are bound by their own privacy policies.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and student data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your account data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion at any time by contacting hello@lledtech.com.
8. Account Holder Rights
As the Account Holder, you have the right to review all personal information we have collected, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your student's data, and withdraw consent for data collection, which will result in account termination. 9. Cookies
LLEdTech products use session cookies and local browser storage solely to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Account Holders by email before any material changes take effect. Continued use of our products after changes constitute acceptance of the updated policy.
