1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any LLEdTech product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and any student using the platform. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. About LLEdTech

LLEdTech Inc. is an educational technology company that designs AI-powered learning apps and technology solutions for K-12 learners. Our products use evidence-based, multisensory methodology to deliver personalized instruction through immersive technology. Current products include Liter-I-See, an AI-powered virtual reality and desktop literacy platform for students ages 10 to 14. Additional products may be offered in the future, and these Terms of Service apply to all LLEdTech products and services unless a separate agreement is provided.

3. Eligibility

LLEdTech products are designed for use by K-12 students under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or educator. Accounts must be created by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized educator (the "Account Holder") who is at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you represent that you have the legal authority to agree to these terms.

4. Account Registration

To access LLEdTech products, you must create an account by providing accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription and Payment

Access to paid LLEdTech products requires a subscription. Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis at the rates listed at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until your subscription is cancelled.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the applicable product through the end of your paid period. LLEdTech does not prorate partial billing periods.

7. Refund Policy

LLEdTech offers a 7-day refund window from the date of your initial subscription purchase for any paid product. If you are unsatisfied within the first 7 days, contact us at hello@lledtech.com to request a full refund. After 7 days, subscription payments are non-refundable. Accounts activated through complimentary coupon codes or free trials are not eligible for refunds.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use LLEdTech products only for their intended educational purposes. You may not share your account with others outside your authorized household or institution, attempt to reverse-engineer or copy any portion of our products, use our services to collect data about other users, or use our products in any way that violates applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within LLEdTech products and services, including but not limited to instructional content, games, narration, graphics, curriculum design, and software, is the exclusive property of LLEdTech Inc. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of our products without express written permission from LLEdTech Inc.

10. Privacy and Student Data

LLEdTech collects limited personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We take the privacy and safety of student data seriously. We do not sell student data to third parties. Student data is used solely to provide, improve, and personalize the educational experience within our products.

11. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

LLEdTech products are designed for K-12 students. Accounts are created and managed by parents, guardians, or authorized educators. LLEdTech complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All student accounts require a parent, guardian, or authorized educator to create the account and provide consent.

12. Disclaimers

LLEdTech products are educational tools and are not substitutes for professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment of any learning difference or disability. LLEdTech makes no guarantee that use of our products will produce specific academic outcomes. Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LLEdTech Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to LLEdTech in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Changes to Terms

LLEdTech reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify Account Holders of material changes by email. Continued use of our products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
